Stroke survivors helping themselves

12 June 2010

Strides for Strokes is a sponsored fundraising event designed to promote stroke recovery.  It will elevate the public’s awareness of Stroke Recovery Association of BC (SRABC), and our commitment to improving the lives of stroke survivors and their caregivers.  It is an opportunity for SRABC’s members to raise money for programs that help stroke survivors to become more included in their community.   Above all, it is a chance for us to help ourselves.

This 5th annual Strides event will be held on June 12th at John Lawson Park in West Vancouver adjacent to the beautiful West Vancouver Seawall.  Whether you wheel, walk or run, please PARTICIPATE by going as far as you can. Remember, every ‘stride’ counts!

Together, we will make a difference!  We are also looking for volunteers so please register your interest by clicking on the volunteer button.

Remember, registering for the event and fundraising is free!
