We established 2Mevents Inc. and 2Mevents Ltd. (‘2M’) to provide innovative online event and donation processing solutions. Listening to organizers and users of existing sites told us that there was an opportunity to provide a fun and interactive, but professional website that:

2. Reduced administration for event organizers and fundraisers
3. Offered exceptional value for money
4. Was supported by a fun and professional team in both Europe and North America

To provide profitable services that exceed the expectations of clients - we aim to obtain a postive testimonial from every client we serve that speaks to the measurable value we provide.

Established in 2009, the 2M group has been able to incorporate the latest functionality and social media techniques. The formation of 2Mevents was due the success the founders had with CCN, a group set up to deliver online solutions for the cycling world.

Rupert May

As the ‘beancounter’, Rupert has over 18 years of public practice and private company experience, in both North America and the UK. Rupert’s role is to ensure measurable value is delivered to clients and that 2M complies with all regulatory and financial requirements. As a supporter of the community, he has assisted many volunteer organizations, including the Harmony Community Trust, Junior Achievement, L.O.T., The Cook Studio and the Vancouver Academy of Music.

Rupert is a former partner of a global accounting firm and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in England and Wales, Canada as well as a C.P.A. (Colorado).

Phil Mowatt

Phil is the co-founder and CEO of Cycle Component Network ('CCN').

He has an exceptional vision with regard to the next generation of online services.

With a passion for delivering excellence, Phil thrives on establishing and evolving solutions that stand out.

In charge of delivering the online services for 2Mevents, Phil’s role is to ensure the very highest user experience, both from an organizer and individual perspective. Like the rest of the team, he has spent time as an event organizer and as a participant, hence the passion to improve on services provided.

As an avid mountain biker and dog owner, Phil can be found snatching time off in the great outdoors.  He spends a lot of time helping good causes and individuals, believing that a company has a moral responsibility to do good, not only by its employees, suppliers, clients, but also the wider community.

Louise Marshall

Commercial Director, Europe

Responsible for customer relationships, service delivery and support in the UK and throughout Europe, Louise joined 2Mevents with 10 years experience in the technology industry throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  She brings insight and understanding of web-based services, their flexibility to delivery and the capacity they have for innovation.

Customers are great, but Louise is passionate about building long term partnerships, exceeding expectations and being part of an organisation that develops with, as well as for, their customer base.

Phil joined the 2M team in the Vancouver office from a retail background servicing clients.  With a great solutions orientated attitude, Phil takes overall responsibility for the smooth operation of our events, from start to finish.  As an avid road biker, he has a passion for the outdoors and delivering great customer service.

Colm Phair

Customer Support

With a Masters in Electronic Commerce, Colm has a background in event registrations while working at the University of Ireland.  As an avid rugby and hurling player, Colm has a keen interest in sporting events. Colm works to support customers with event registrations, charity donations, RSVP invites and other 2M solutions.  With a strong volunteer and retail background, Colm brings real passion to the team and enhancing our e-commerce platform.

Dan Prisk

Early in 2010, Dan decided to give up a comfortable life in the UK to chase the dream half way around the world in the mountains of BC.   He came to 2M with nearly a decade of experience in all aspects of the on-line sector.  Dan is really passionate about elegant, user focussed solutions - especially ones that involve playing with shiny new technology!
