The British Columbia Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers Guild (BC Innkeepers) is a professional association of innkeepers of quality B&Bs in the province of BC, formed for education, marketing and representation. Founded in 1992 as the Western Canada B&B Innkeepers Association, the Guild not only changed its name in 2007, but refocused its goals and objectives to better represent the Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of British Columbia, and specifically the members of the Guild.

Our membership year runs from October 1 to September 30, but you can join the guild at any time.

NOTE: Once the member has added the Guild logo to their website and linked that logo back to the Guild site, a rebate cheque of $100 + GST will be issued.

All Bed & Breakfast innkeepers who meet our Quality Assurance Standards are eligible for membership in the Guild. Your professional membership in the Guild keeps you informed about issues relating to the B&B industry, includes you in regional networking groups, gives you a preferred rate for an online reservation and availability system, invites you to annual members meetings and conferences, and offers you accreditation as a member of the only quality assured province-wide Bed & Breakfast association.

PLUS a listing on the Guild website, which includes additional online marketing opportunities as well, PLUS a listing in 60,000 copies of our annual brochure, PLUS a listing on the Guild's mobile website.

Membership applications need to be approved by the Board before December 31 in order to be included in the new brochure. Applications received and approved after December 31 can only be included if the production schedule allows, so please check with us at brochure@bcinnkeepers.com or membership@bcinnkeepers.com.

The brochure listing will include all your contact and amenities information plus a 1.75"x 1.25" - 300 DPI digital photo and your 130 character description

Professional Membership

Corporate Associate Member

Corporate Associate Membership benefits agencies or businesses in the tourism industry including suppliers to the B&B industry and agents for government or other related bodies.

Individual Associate Membership

$ 50.00

Individual Associate Membership benefits individuals working in the Bed & Breakfast or related tourism industries. Individuals who are eligible for this membership include retired, aspiring or relief innkeepers, employees of Guild members, and students in the hospitality industry.
